Caducity is not a diary nor a self-help blog.  It offers no medical advice or therapy of any sort.  Wait…it is a therapy for the author as it allows me to vent, explain, rant, explore, whine and discuss my thoughts, feelings, and actions during this time of caducity.

Caducity is a new word for me.  Found it in a thesaurus when trying to title this blog.  The title “Rant about Dementia” didn’t work well.  The first definition of caducity from Merriam-Webster is senility: a loaded word.  The second definition is more palatable and appropriate – the quality of being transitory or perishable.  This meaning can apply to people or pears or pandas.
