It used to bother me when he was mowing the yard and would flip grass cuttings up onto the patio or sidewalk. That doesn’t bother me any more. The fact that he can get out and mow over 6 acres with a large zero turn mower is a point of pride now. He maintains his machine and wears proper gear: hat, gloves, boot, long pants, long sleeves, goggles, and mask. He takes pride in what he does and I take pride in him for doing it.
There are so many things now that he can’t do to his satisfaction. To have this very beneficial activity – mowing – is good for all of us.

That is so nice! It’s always good to focus on the positive, rather than the negative. Of course, it’s often easier said than done.
